Bangka White Pepper

Whole White Pepper from Indonesia – From Bangka Island

Bangka white pepper is one of the most renowned white peppers in the world. Sourced from the island of Bangka, off the coast of Sumatra, it is renowned for its aromatic purity, finesse, and elegant heat.

At Kawanga, we have selected a unique grade that meets the highest available standard. The berries of Piper nigrum are harvested at full maturity, then undergo a controlled drying process, washing, and drying, which removes the outer husk while preserving the aromatic core of the bean.

Aromatic Profile

  • Clean, subtle, and gradual heat
  • Earthy and slightly fermented notes
  • Woody, clean, and elegant aromas
  • A long, precise, and gentle finish

A high-purity white pepper, ideal for sophisticated, technically demanding cuisine.
